| Although Lake Charles area is home. I find myself in the Baton Rouge area, getting folks affected by flood moved in to FEMA trailers. Heads in beds is my current motto. Very stressful, tiring, and lonely.

Been an interesting journey thus far. So many changes, so much understanding. Understanding who, what, and why I am me has given me some inner peace.

An LSU fan and a Texas fan were checking out of their hotel
In Omaha after the 2009 College World Series.
The LSU fan proceeded to pay her hotel bill with a check,
Despite the large sign behind the front desk that read,
"No Out-of-Town Checks Allowed."
The clerk took her check and gave her a receipt.
The Texas fan then attempted to pay his bill with a check.
The clerk asked him, "Where are you from?" to which he
Proudly answered, "Texas".
The clerk pointed to the sign and said, "I'm sorry, sir,
But we do not take out-of-town checks."
Visibly angered, the Longhorn fan said, "Well, you took a
Check from that Tiger fan, who is obviously from Louisiana !"
The clerk smiled and responded, "Yes, sir...but,

Back in water, on offshore oil rig. Day#8 another 27 to go.
Just realized that pic was taken at a bar in Galveston, Tx. Needless to say it doesn't exist anymore. (sigh, thank you for minimal lives lost). Perhaps they (hurricanes) realize me for who I am now, and are searching for me to guide them and tame them? |
