Time for a rewrite.

Boy has been a transient creature for much of the last four years following the kind of unpleasant shift in life circumstances that would make Russian literature seem like easy reading.

We shall not go into tiresome details of the events though should you, possibly interested party, wish to know then do ask. It is no secret but sob stories are hardly attractive and surely that is what this box is for? Mais non?

So, moving on to positive notes, what can boy offer? (cue sales pitch and shouty American accent for hard sell purposes)

Boy cooks with a passionate zeal that sees him spend much of his time either scheming, preparing or eating anything from the humble potato soup made with chicken stock, celery, onion, bay leaf, fresh thyme and parsley to the more outlandish home made falafel with mustardy beetroot, minted broad bean hummus and griddled garlicky courgettes with lashings of tahini yoghurt sauce.

His travels have accorded him the opportunity of gaining much knowledge and inspiration in all things edible.

Boy reads voraciously and may require much hair pulling to coerce him when engrossed in a novel to do chores. However, once roused boy is adept with mops, brushes, knows to use newspaper on mirrored or glass surfaces to prevent streaks, and has a knack with IKEA furniture.

Gardening has become a latest hobby as all the tastiest food comes straight from the source. 

Boy adores writing when the mood takes him, poetry and short things mostly, with grand dreams of cookery books, novels and biographies in the future.

Boy can offer awkwardness, a sense of humour that is somewhat an acquired taste, and devotion to the right lady.

What does boy need?

A sense of belonging.
